How to cook chakhokhbili

For cooking you will need:

500-600g. beef,

dill,

garlic,

tarragon,

red ground pepper,

black peppercorns,

olive or corn oil.

You need about 4 pieces per serving.

So, take the beef, cut into medium-sized pieces. Put the meat in a pan with heated olive or corn oil; lightly fry. Cut the onion and tomatoes into thin circles, add everything to the meat, mix. Fry everything until golden brown. Peel potatoes, cut into large wedges, then place in a saucepan. Put the meat with tomatoes and onions on top of the potatoes. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Then add chopped garlic, salt, red and black pepper, finely chopped dill, cilantro and parsley. Simmer all ingredients again until tender (about 30 minutes). Beef chakhokhbili is served to the table, sprinkled with greens of spicy herbs.

It is better to serve chicken chakhokhbili with thinly sliced ​​cucumber and dill. It will also look spectacular if you put a mug of tomato, lemon and onion on the edge of the plate. For those who do not like potatoes, rice can be used in the preparation of chakhokhbili, both from beef and chicken, oblong is better. For lovers of spicy dishes, you can serve chakhokhbili with adjika and cold thick sour cream. Red wine goes well with this dish.
