Mumbai University in cooperation with the construction company ASK Foundation planned to implement a unique construction project involving the construction of the largest and most modern conference center in India. A certain part of the new complex will be located on the territory of the campus of the educational institution, and partial on a free land plot located near the international airport.
The new project of a conference object (which, by the way, will be noted, was called (Mumbai University Ask Foundation Convention Center) will be the personification of the link between business relations and the culture of world countries. Conference Hall is able to accommodate up to 4.2 thousand people and it can be reoriented for any event, whether it is an exhibition, concert or sports competition. From an architectural point of view, this object also has a unique feature – a round form. A similar ring structure has become available thanks to the use of diagonal-red structures technology, also known as Diagrid. The central part of the hall is designed so that there are no supports and supporting structures inside. The dome of the entire roof is quite transparent to ensure natural light and high -quality ventilation. The center is planned to use the most progressive developments in energy -saving technologies – a system of water recirculation, solar panels.
