Walls

The wall is a vertical design that performs the function of fencing one room from another or from the surrounding space. The wall is the supporting and enclosing element of the building. It is worth noting that before repairing the wall may be necessary in the examination of industrial safety of buildings.

Walls, depending on the design, can be:

Carrying. They accept the load not only from their own weight and wind, but also from other structures and ceilings.

Self -supporting. They withstand the load from the wind and their own weight of the walls of all overlying floors.

Unnecessary. They carry a load within the same floor only from their own weight and wind. If this is a high floor, then such walls can be self -supporting.

Partitions. These are internal walls that within the same floor carry the load from the wind and their own weight.

Walls, depending on the material from which they are made, are wooden, brick, concrete, reinforced concrete. The walls protect one room from another and therefore they should be as soundproof from each other as much as possible. And the external walls should additionally maintain the heat of the house, protect it from the negative effects of the external environment.

Each future happy owner of a new house chooses for himself the type of walls and the material from which they should be made.
